This is a 18 x 10.5" by 1" Lake Tahoe Acrylic Bowl. Starting with a 1 inch thick piece of Walnut and carving out gentle bowls. All of our solid wood cheese boards are hand picked from a local exotic wood dealers. We shop once a week to seek out unique pieces. There are many factors involved when selecting a piece of wood for a cutting board or cheese board. The Lake Tahoe Cheese Board is particularly difficult to find wood for since width, thickness and grain all have to be just right. Our traditional cutting board type cheese boards are also made from select exotic woods that compliment each other. We like to use multiple wood types for a dramatic affect. Also comes with a metal hook so It can be displayed as art when not in use.
